Terms & Refund Policy

Read this first. Every payment on Bidday is final and non-refundable, including when someone later outbids you and you do not end up running an ad. You are paying to hold the top position, not buying a guaranteed placement.

1. How bidding works

Each calendar day is a single advertising slot on the bidday.lol homepage.
Your payments for a given day are added together. Your running total is your bid.
The advertiser with the highest total when the day arrives has their name, logo, headline and link shown on the homepage for that day.
The minimum first payment on an open day is $5. Once a day has bids, you must exceed the current leader by at least $1 to take the lead.
Your identity is the email address used at payment. Company name is only a display label — a different email means a separate balance, even under the same company name.

2. Payments are non-refundable

All payments are final. We do not issue refunds when you are outbid, when you change your mind, when you stop wanting the day, or when your total ends up lower than another advertiser's. Money paid is spent, not held in escrow. If you are outbid, the way back to the top is to pay the difference, not to request a refund.

This is the core mechanic of the site. If you are not comfortable with it, do not pay.

3. When we will refund

We refund only where we are at fault or legally required:

a duplicate charge caused by a technical failure on our side;
a payment that was taken but never credited to your balance;
where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires it.

Write to us with the payment reference and we will look into it.

4. What you may advertise

We may remove an ad, without refund, if it is unlawful, deceptive, impersonates a person or brand you do not represent, contains malware or misleading links, or promotes hate, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or violence.

You confirm that you own or are authorised to use the name, logo and content you submit.

5. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee traffic, clicks, impressions or any commercial outcome. Visitor figures shown on the site are indicative and must not be relied on as audited metrics.

6. Availability

The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. If the site is down on a day you won, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that day.

7. Your data

We store your email address, company name, ad content and payment amounts.
Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
Your company name, ad content and bid amounts are shown publicly. Your email is not.
Write to us to request deletion of your data, subject to records we must keep for accounting and fraud prevention.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your payment.
